The Atlas Die Eagle Diecutting System
is designed for converters of pressure sensitive materials, tags, envelopes,
business forms, electronic and specialty diecutting. Easy to mount
and register, the Eagle Die is precision back-ground to a flatness of
+/- .0001 of an inch. This technique eliminates uneven cutting, decreases
make ready time and increases the life of the die. Atlas Die offers
801-B Surface Treatment to improve the lubricity, which acts as a release
agent, without leaving residue on the stock being converted. This treatment
also inhibits corrosion, reduces adhesive build-up on die knives when
cutting pressure-sensitive label stocks and improves die life by increasing
abrasion resistance.
The Atlas Die Talon Flat Magnetic Die Base has been developed to provide
converters with an option to diecut intricate shapes in the flat without
any nicks. The Talon Die Base is compatible to most common presses using
steel rule dies. The Talon flat die base, with a holding power equal
to that of a rotary magnetic cylinder, eliminates the fear of the flexible
die plate coming loose during the press run. Converters of pressure-sensitive
materials, especially diecutting in a kiss cut operation, will appreciate
the seamless cutting and accuracy of the flexible die paired with the
Talon flat magnetic die base.
