- The polymer make-up in the material, minimizes any chance of growth or shrinkage of the die.
- Our patented Kerf Lock System can be added to the die to enable positive holding of all rules in the die.
- This type of die board is used when accuracy is a must.
- Either phenolic or steel counterplates can be used with this die type.
- When used in conjunction with a steel counterplate, a steel or aluminum rail is used around the perimeter for greater stability.
- For those really close tolerance dies, we install an interior rail system, that is countersunk into the die base and attached to the exterior rails.
- The matching steel counterplate, machined to exact tolerances in both width and depth, is the most accurate in the industry.
- Both full thickness and transfer type matching counterplates are available.
- Atlas Die’s experienced Quality Assurance Department, examines every die board according to a highly defined QA Procedure Manual, to insure all specifications are met and maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
