Laser Steel Rule Dies
The Laser Steel Rule Die is one of the oldest members of the Atlas Die family of tooling. The Laser Steel Rule Die is a general use, all purpose die; the standard flatbed steel rule die. The Laser Steel Rule Die can be used by various converting industries: folding carton, packaging, labels, electronic, gasket and specialties industries. Atlas Die is the originator of the technology that revolutionized the steel rule die industry - the Laser Steel Rule Die.
DESCRIPTION:
A Laser Steel Rule Die consists of 5/8, 11/16, or 3/4 inch thick hard maple
plywood diebase with CAD/CAM driver, laser cut slots that hold the cutting
and/or creasing rule. The rule is then carefully put in place by skilled Atlas
Die craftsmen. Each tool is custom built to the customer's specifications.
Creasing rule can be used if needed as well as glue assist, embossing, and
reverse cut score opening features. The sophisticated programming which drives
the laser to cut the die base is the same program used to manufacture the Atlas
Die Perma-DieŽ, Bonded
DieŽ, Gamma DieŽ, or Layered dies. This programming assures accurate
compatibility with all other Atlas Die tooling.
FEATURES:
Atlas Die tools are quality built and designed to last through repeated
uses over long periods of time. Atlas Die's engineering staff will be happy
to advise you on Laser Steel Rule Dies and other Atlas Die tooling options
for your project.
